About NajaWien

2020

Starting with my work during covid

During the COVID pandemic, it was prohibited to spend much time outdoors. So, I sat down at my computer and began producing my own songs.
However, it wasn’t until August 2024 that I launched my career as a music artist on various streaming platforms.

My first songs were almost exclusively instrumental. It was only later that I tried my hand at vocals, and since then, I have significantly improved in quality.

I am often asked how I came up with the name NajaWien.
Naja means cobra, but it has nothing to do with me.
A long time ago, I used to chat online a lot, and of course you had to come up with a name. And since I’ve always been a bit indecisive, I chose the name “Naja.” In German, it means neither yes nor no.
I always used that name. At some point, I added the place where I live. And that’s how NajaWien came about.
It’s quite simple.

Private Life

But I'm not just a music artist, I'm also a person with a real job and free time, which I spend in different ways. I'd like to share some photos from my private life with you.

Studio Diary

My work as a music artist is not limited to composing music. I am also my own producer, I am mixing and mastering my songs myself and distributing them online. I am a one-man company, which means I own all the rights to my products.

I am currently working on my first album, entitled “Breaking.” It will be released in 2026 and will feature a lot of great songs.
Kelsey will also be back, not only singing the title track with her incredible voice, but also providing vocals on other songs.
There will be other great voices featured as well.
I already have five songs finished and am working on the next one. There’s a lot to do, and I hope to be able to release the first song online on January 1.
Five songs for my new album are almost finished. Just a few minor revisions and then they need to be properly mastered.
But the work doesn’t stop there. Only five months to go and I still have seven songs to write. I’ve got a lot to do!
Today I finished the seventh song for my new album. I still need to check a few things to make sure everything is right, but I’ve done most of the work.

This time Georgia is singing.

The sixth song is taking a little more work because I’m not quite satisfied with it yet. Hailey’s voice is perfect, the rhythm is right, but something is still missing, and I don’t know what it is yet.

It’s rare that I have to work on a song for so long until I’m satisfied.
Happy to say that my 8th song is finished. It’s a softer Popsong that will make your body moove. It’s called „Feelin It“.
I did much work in the last weeks so I can say that I have produced my 11th song of the new album „Breaking“. It is just one song left.
I am looking forward to do the last one so I have enough time to improve all songs für release.
Just started on my 12th song for the album „BREAKING“. I am very excited to be nearly ready to distribute the album and make it available for everyone in 2026.
It is already done: My album „BREAKING“ with 12 new songs was uploaded to the streaming platforms to be published on Jan. 1st, 2026. The new year will start powerful!
Additional to this I decided to release an October plus song. So this October you can get 2 (!) new songs. Magnetised and Everything I need.

I hope you like both of them.
Befor the release of my first album I decided to publish some more singles in 2025. So November and December are months with 2 songs.
I am very proud of my song „Through The Smoke“ and „Someone To Love“. Both of them are very intense and powerful. It’s been a journey into EDM only. So I hope you like them as much as I do.
After completing my album “BREAKING,” I decided not to release another album in the near future, but rather to release singles.
This will allow me to make my new songs available to you immediately, rather than making you wait a long time for them.
It is long ago since I wrote my last intrumental song. That is why I decided to do a new one. It is finished and I hope you like it. Full of power, basses and rhythm the song „Future Dance“ invites you to dance and feel free.
It will be available 2026 after the release of my album BREAKING.
It is the second x-mas day when I finished my song „The Unknown“ sung by Ella. A smooth but also powerful song which will be published on Feb. 10th, 2026.
I am so happy to release my first album on the first day of 2026. It includes 12 songs from soft to fast, smooth to powerful. Everything you want to hear.
I wish all my friends and listeners a very happy NEW YEAR!!!
After releasing my album BREAKING the first song will be a instrumental one called „Future Dance“ and I hope you like it.
As a bonus I decided to publish my EDM song „deep“ also on February 1st, 2026. So this month is a busy month because of the release of 3 songs.
As a special my extended version of „deep“ is only available on soundcloud and on this webside.
As two of my favorite songs HOLD ME and OVER YOUR LOVE are online I was working an a new song called ECHO again with Kelsey als singer.
It’s my birthday special that will be published worldwide on March, 29th 2026. It’s called SOMEONE TO LOVE. I love this song that I wrote 2025 but wanted to come out on my birthday. So I hope you like it as much as I do. Just listen and enjoy!
The new song „Heaven“ is an instrumental only work that begins very soft with a piano solo and leads into a techno/trance song. It is the only song where you can hear my voice 😉 Try to find it.
The next songs will be released by ORION Distribution because they send them up to 150 (!) stores that makes me more present in the world of music. But I am still sad about never beeing played on radio up to now. I hope it will change within the next year. But it is not easy without a big lable that pushes you and your music. So if there is any radio station out there that is interrested in playing my songs please contact me!
O.k. April is a very inspiring month so I finished another song that will be released on May 1st, 2026. It is called „Day and Night“ and it is a very powerful and danceable song. Hope you like it.
Oooohhh. I can’t belive it but I have finished another song. So May will have a couple of releases. „Day and Night“, „Ghosts“, „Oh la la“, „Flying so high“ and „Easy“. Wow and that’s not the end of the year! There is a lot more to come.
After releasing all my new music in May I had to change my distributer.
So every song published by them will be down for a while.
But I will publish them again with my other distributer so you can listen to them again.
Meanwhile I am going to release a new song called „Want it forever“. After a long time again with Kelsey as singer.
June starts with a new song sung again from Kelsey. It is a lovesong with power … and a litte bit of Rock inside.
The next song „Roulette“ is a perfect song to dance at or to use during workout. It is powerful an with this song i left my comfort zone. But I think I made it! What do you thing?
On June 6th (I hope so) my latest song „Ain’t fair“ will be released. Once again a typical NajaWien song.
So, I tried to transfer my Music from one distributer to another. I hope it goes without any trouble.
This is about the following songs:
Easy / Day & Night / Flying so high / Echo / Oh La La / Ghosts / Beg for your Love.
All of this songs are actually not available online. I hope they will soon.
A am happy to announce that all my songs will be published again on July 6th, 2026.
I have just finished my 2026 Summer Hit called „Summer Drive“ which will be released on August 1st, 2026. It is a powerful pop song that makes you wanna dance! Listen to it and enjoy the summer.
The next song coming out is „Beneth The Smoke“ and will be released on August 20th, 2026. It is a mix of Pop and Dance.
On September 1st, 2026 my new song „Fragments“ will be available online and in music stores all over the world. Once again with the beautiful voice of Noire.
After a 2 week break I finished two new songs:
-Desire (feat. Kelsey)
-Feeling
Both songs are about love. The first one is 126BPM and the second one is 140BPM.
In the last 2 month I worked a lot on my music. After finishing more vocal songs I wanted to produce an instrumental song. It will lead us back to the 80th and is called „disco“. So you know what to expect. It is a mix of pop, EDM and disco. So let’s dance!
Two new instumental songs will be available soon: Sphere and Thunder. Both without vocals but very intense.
After working on instrumental songs I made a new song with Natalie which will be available on December 14th, 2026. It is called „Until Tomorrow“ and ends the year 2026 with a beautiful voice.
My first time woking with Sadie leads me to the new song „In Your Eyes“ that will be out on January 10th, 2027 and will be the first vocal song in the new year.
For the first time since producing music I changed my logo into a simple row of letters. The well known logo will no longer be used on my work.
